Nokia kind of fell out of the spotlight for a lot of us when iPhones and Android devices started taking over the world. The company has definitely seen better days, but they are still cranking out devices and they even have their first Android handset in the works. It’s been codenamed the Nokia Normandy, and it’s going to be unveiled to the world next week at MWC 2014.

The Nokia Normandy or Nokia X as many think it will be called, is a mid-range device that expected to have a 4-inch display with an eye-blistering resolution of 480×854, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of storage. The Nokia X will also have a 5MP camera, 1500mAh battery, and you’ll be able to pick one up in six different colors. We saved the best for last, as the processor is thought to be a Snapdragon 200 dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz.

Nokia’s Lumia range offers up a nice line of devices, and their first Android handset is at the opposite end of the spectrum. That said, the device is rumored to go for around $99 bucks which is certainly much cheaper than a lot of devices we see running Android. Nokia will show off the Nokia X at MWC, and we expect to hear more about the price and availability at that time. What do you think, is the Nokia X just the thing for you or is it just an underwhelming Android device from Nokia?
